Thank you Tommi! We have had some nice sunsets and low suns over the last few months.
This one is from home, the only place this guy is going is the pub. There isn't anything else near.

A great set of sunsets, Ombugge! I love the composition in #730 and those in #731 are beautiful. I particularly enjoy #731.2 with the clouds seming to be fold upon fold and #731.4 is just glorious.

Where did you take this, Thijs? The sky has such a clear graduation from the soft pink at the horizon up through palest blue to the rich colour higher up. It is as if an artist did a very careful wet-into-wet colour wash, so even is it.
I like the way you have caught the reflection of the lamp on the side of the Cruiser.

Re: Photo Assignment: Gallery of sunrises and sunsets

We finally got a day with sunshine in Aalesund yesterday.
At 2225 hrs. the mountains started to take on a bit of orange colour:

Time to go to town to see the sun setting in the NNW.
But at 2250 hrs. a fog bank was building to the North:

2255 hrs. and still no strong colours:

The sun set at 2326 hrs.
By 2330 hrs. there were no real change:

At 10C and a stiff northerly breeze it was time to give up. (Better luck today maybe??)

Yesterday's sunset was at 2332 hrs. and a bit "better" than the one above.

At 2330 hrs. the sun has disappeared behind Valderoya:

At this time half the sun would have been below the horizon.

No real change by 2345 hrs.:

                          Nor at 2355 hrs.:

But what is that appearing at the edge of the picture?

Ahaa!!, Hurtigruta is arriving from the north:

                            But which one???
More on this in the Hurtigruten thread later.

                            Midnight on the dot:

Final picture of the night at 0010 hrs.:

We were told to leave from the veranda at Radisson Blue Hotel.

i take this one a few miles north of Breda, spent the night there.
the sky was so clear, not a single cloud, just the bleu and orange.
taken itfrom out the hand ,so had to make a few of them before i got a ''good'' one
                              best regards Thijs

Breda is a pleasant city, isn't it? One I'd like to return to and explore further.
