Freaky!..... I don't like insects in real, spiders and roaches are the worst.

    BUT. These images are great.

I have never managed to capture bugs successfully: they have a tendency to fly away before I finish my picture taking....

How in the world did you manage to capture the bee?

Do I get extra credit for having the insect on my head?

Don't have a macro camera and most certainly don't have many bug/insect pictures, but one came to mind when seeing this thread.
Here's som sort of a moth floating dead around in my pool in the summer of 2008.

Wesley, it's beautiful. The hairs on its back are so soft and furry, in lovely contrast to the gleam of light on its smooth head.

I've been playing with some lenses my father-in-law had delivered to me at work. This was taken with a Canon 16-35 f2.8 lens. I'm not very pleased with the focus but I was very close to the minimum focus distance for this lens and may have gotten a bit too close.

the lens couldend made it for a close up,so this one is a zoomt image, aint that bad,but aint that good too

it came from this image this is what i get with total zoom, with a 18-105 lens.

and that stone was about 3-3.5 meters away

thats way you want to live upnorth.
the bug, spiders and others creatures are smaller there than around the equator.
