An abandoned mine loader in Sulis, he has definitely hauled his last load of copper ore!

Interesting image. I'm glad you chose to display it in greyscale. I like it.

But, as the person I am, it also makes me curious what it looks like in color... do you have it in color?

Just because I would like to see the difference.

I think this one looked like it was abandoned, at Være:

This one was definately abandoned... and won't see any significant service anymore: from Være outside Trondheim:

                  Interesting thread this one.
Your first images here, Jan-Olav, is of a Mercedes lorry..., an old version of the B13 I belive.
The other one (grey one with broken down roof) is an old Bedford van. Don't know the exact type, but maybe a CA.

During my trip to town this Sunday, I came over this old SIMCA at a car dealer.
(He was the first and only importer of SIMCA to this area).
                  Anyone know the type...?
EDIT: Kind of found out myself. It must be a Simca 1000 from around 1963

Thank you, thank you Mr. Sterkoder... for first of all spotting that abandoned car, and secondly for taking time to capture it and share it!

I particularly love the second shot: the detail of it's weathered and rust front. Imagine, how it may have looked like when it was brand new and still .... ehhh.. sparkly.

Yeah, and from my childhood, I remember this as a rather nice looking car (we had a few of them in Kristiansund).
Found a link with several images of this model, so please click into the webpage and have a look:

Interesting link... it's hard to imagine that this once was the most modern car on the road (for a while).

One day, I don't know when..., but one day, I will go bananas with my Pentax at this abandoned vehicle graveyard. Used several months in front of Google Earth to find the exact spot, and just last week I got the owners phonenumber! These wrecks in the right light and soft HDR...., wow!

Oh yes, I love rusty abandoned cars, and I also know of a huge yard in southern Sweden, close to the Norwegian border ;-)

Elnesvågen, Norway. 40-45 minutes by car south-west of Kristiansund. Make a large pot of coffee and start Google Earth, or Google Maps or whatever 😃😉
