  • September 2014: CVF Monthly Competition Voting Open

Well it would seem that we can no longer add polls to existing threads!

So, let's have a voting thread with just the photos (and none of our chatter!).

PLEASE NOTE EVERYONE WITH A LOGIN CAN VOTE! YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE SUBMITTED A PHOTO TO BE ABLE TO VOTE!!

I've set this up so that you can vote multiple times - but it's probably best if we vote for no more than three each.

Voting set to close at the end of 6th October.

(NB we can't count, so I've had to edit the numbers on these!).

SEP-006 - My home, the Cotswolds

For clarity, I don't live in one of these - mine has double glazing, central heating and a garage - BUT the rolling hills, the yellow stone, the pegged-stone roofs, the wisteria and ivy (not that sort) crawling up the walls, the shallow rivers, the packhorse bridges, the peace and tranquillity - that sums up my little bit of the world.
              Cheers,

              Mark.

Can members vote even if they haven't entered the competition?

Well, there we go - we survived another monthly competition.

Entertainingly nine people voted and place 18 votes in total - you were allowed to vote for up to three photos, so there could have been up to 27 responses!

Congratulations to wherrygirl for having achieved more votes than anyone else, despite strong competition from Thijs and Yves.

Ivy has therefore having won the distinction of setting the next competition. I look forward to hearing your suggestion for the subject of the next one.

I propose that we try this again in November - and will do that unless anyone objects!
                      Cheers,

                      Mark.

I should have done this long ago, Mark suggested November. But the new competition will be set in the New Year.
                          Stand by.
