I'm not in the habit of being envious of anybody or anything, but I can sence the feeling now..., only to tell myself that I have a Pentax....
Thinking about a wide angle later, but whow...., nothing like that!!
And after the very few images I've taken with my new camera, I already feel the need for a 300mm +.
The 18-55 has helped me out once, but that is more like a lid to the camera house than anything else...

Wonder what the ETA is on the arrival of the first image from you with this one mounted??

Videos and some images shot with this lens has now been released at the Canon site at this link:

I would say, very impressive lens, but (there is always a but), do I really need that kind of lens...?

The question is, have you preordered?

I haven't pre-ordered it (yet).... I do like this lens a whole lot but I would like to see more tests and how images turn out before making such an investment.

My question would then off course be, have you pre-ordered one?

Normally I would not have given this lens a second look but after my trip to Amsterdam it sounds really appealing. You get the fisheye when you want it but with some software tricks you can flatten the image.

Ohhh. I wonder how expensive this lens would be if it were 2.8f?

That is the thing I'm afraid about... I don`t want the fisheye experience all the time.
