Hope you enjoy it Carina. I've had a D7000 since about last March, and am just about getting the hang of it! If you have the kit 28mm - 105mm lens, be careful - the plastic mount isn't very strong, and I managed to break mine and had to have it replaced - no problems since then. The 55mm to 300mm lens is great though.

Can't wait to see what you manage to capture with your D7000 - your unique eye and talent mean that we've got some great photos coming our way.
    Cheers,

    Mark.

Oh, thank you for the tip. I have a 28-105 lense, so will be careful. Hm.. Weird though :/

A new era for the big two on the market, both Nikon AND Canon have presented new full frame mirrorless cameras AND new lens mounts. That's surely big news, but how will they be accepted by the market?

Thank you Tommi for posting those links - interesting reading.

I'm not sure I'll ever buy a new digital SLR camera again: during my last three week trip to South East Asia, from which I returned yesterday, I only shot 5 shots with my 5D. The rest of the shots were either done by iPHONE or an incredible and powerful compact camera from Canon.

I'm even contemplating selling all lenses and the body (again)... I know, this is a discussion that keeps returning again and again. But. The price of the equipment, doesn't justify the very light use these days.
