A circus owner runs an ad for a lion tamer and two people show up. One is a retired golfer in his seventies and the other is a gorgeous blond in her mid-twenties.

The circus owner tells them, "I'm not going to sugar coat it. This is one ferocious lion. He ate my last tamer so you two had better be good or you're history.. Here's your equipment -- chair, whip and a gun. Who wants to try out first?"

The girl says, "I'll go first." She walks past the chair, the whip and the gun and steps right into the lion's cage... The lion starts to snarl and pant and begins to charge her. About halfway there, she throws open her coat revealing her beautiful naked body.

The lion stops dead in his tracks, sheepishly crawls up to her and starts licking her feet and ankles. He continues to lick and kiss her entire body for several minutes and then rests his head at her feet.

The circus owner's jaw is on the floor. He says, "I've never seen a display like that in my life." He then turns to the retired golfer and asks, "Can you top that?"

The tough old golfer replies, "No problem, just get that lion out of there."*

Had anyone else seen this one from the Daily Mail?

(Just for clarity, I don't read the Daily Mail - one of my colleagues pointed me at this!)
            Cheers,

It's a good one, we had a look at it once or twice before, but the self protraits are so good that they are worth mentioning again and again.

Those captures really make me smile!

I really don't believe this to be true for one second!

I want to start beating people over the head every time I say "Costa Rica" and they say "isn't that an island?"

Sterkoder, when in The States, I am sure you had fun explaining where you were from. Norway? That's a cold place isn't it?

                      I can assure you!

And how many reindeer did we have in our back yard again...?
Did I ever spot polar bears when walking the hills...? Why didn't I know Mr. Svensson from Stockholm, Norway and Sweden are neighbours, aren't we...? And so on and so on.
(I was most amazed that an american in fact connects Stocholm to Sweden).

A norwegian child knows more about the USA and even specific places therein than many americans themselves, and facing it in real life, that is pretty scary...

That said, I must be aware so that I don't include ALL americans here. I hope you realize that, my friend...?
All in all, this goes both ways I think. There are norwegians asking: -"Who lives there...?" when you mention the Gettysburg Adress...

On our recent trip to the Black Sea for once it was not an American that was the most obnoxious and arrogant. They were Canadian! Loudly complaining in Istanbul that they could not find a taxi that would accept US Dollars. The just could not understand why they would not take the US funny money and boy were they mad and putting on quite a show. Bizzare that they were not getting upset that they taxi would not take Canadian money. They just had to drag the US into it. Crazy since we boarded the ship in Athens/Piraeus and spent two days in Turkey. Plenty of time to change money to get Euros. Then our next port was Slovenia and then on to Venice both places where Euros are needed. No excuse to not have local currency.
