    Norway for My Birthday?

Hard to believe but my wife and I have never been to Norway. This year I turn 50 and I'm looking for a nice trip to celebrate. Right now near the top of my list is a Oceana cruise that visits 8 ports in Norway from Kristiansund to Oslo. It took me a while but in 2016 I finally made it to Singapore and Bangkok to see Ombugge and Pakarang's "old" cities (still bummed that I got there after both of you had left). A trip to the southern part of Norway might allow to visit a few more cities of Captain's Voyage members.

This is the cruise we are considering.

I see that the Marina will be in Aalesund the whole day (0800 - 1800) and alone.

Maybe we can meet up for a beer or two at the Molo Micro Brewery, which is right next to the Cruise Terminal:

You are lucky to have the town to yourself, The day before there will be 5 Cruise ships in town. (4 simultaneously)

July 17th at Kristiansund is the closest for me.... the only problem is that it is a work week for me!

But, I'm sure the trip will still be amazing for both you and your wife!

I am sorry that I forgot to post back. We are going to Alaska instead of Norway and giving Seabourn a try. It is an 11 day cruise from Vancouver, Canada to Seward, Alaska.

That's a really nice cruise you have picked there, and on the Seabourn Sojourn you will be in the best of surroundings too.

Had a look through her deck plans too... I think the coffee bar would be a popular spot for me.

I wish you both a most wonderful cruise with all the stash, trimmings and experiences you dream of. Bon voyage on your cruise to Seaward!
