Jan-Olav shared this post on a Facebook page, but I liked it so much that I felt an urge to share it further here.
Because I’ve been replaying it over and over I first thought I'd put a link in "What are you listening to right now", or perhaps somewhere in the Thailand section as it's a song in the style of Thai country music - Luk thung. But I decided to put it here with videos so you'll be sure to not only listen but also watch the expression this delightful amazing guy brings to his singing.

It begins (and ends) with a jaunty tune, but the verses that follow build up with increasing use of vibrato notes, subtle changes of pitch that make my hairs stand on end - emotional and spellbinding even when you don't understand the language.

When I tried Jan-Olav's link (http://www.facebook.com/captainsvoya...55181447997168) when I was NOT logged into FB, it didn't work, but I found that this link did:

Did you all hear about or see the videos online, about the young Cambodian boy who can speak so many languages?

New way of talking about history for the younger generation which finds it "boring"... perhaps.

From the BBC today, 'Firefall' in Yosemite National Park, USA.
It happens only in a very narrow time window in late February and has probably done so for many thousands of years. A few people in the stone age will have enjoyed this spectacle and many can enjoy it today through wonder of modern technology.

Stunning view of "El Capitan" ... so that's where the name of previous version of MAC's operating system came from!

El Capitan is popular amongst serious climbers, but it is very dangerous because large slabs of the face break away periodically. In September 2017, a series of large rock falls occurred and there was loss of life.

Needless to say, that fire effect is stunning. I have seen it in some other waterfalls around the wall, but not as clear as here.
