But to me..., coffee has always been, is and will always be a cup of hot black coffee, nothing more, nothing less.

Have never grown to build a taste for all those kinds of coffee, with milk, with cream, with this and that taste, more coffee, less coffee and all that stuff....
I understand that very well.... We had a funny story about that on KF last period as well.... I left my ice coffee in a tall glass on the bridge during a brake, and the deck hand emptied it in the sink. When I later returned and asked about my ice-coffee, he said it was cold.... and therefore threw it out. He'd never heard of ice coffee.

I can't really drink that plane black coffee... makes me go pee-pee every 3 minutes. I have become accustomed to milk-chocolate-flavored coffees too much...

          Not a Starbucks, but....

Not a Starbucks, but an apparently new (at least I’ve never seen it before though it’s not on a street I regularly pass along) Coffee Shop, with an absolutely irresistible pakarang-meets-Lady C-name!!!!!!

At first, I thought you were trying to pull my leg, but then, I realized that this is true.... Hilarious!

…and it gets better…it’s run by a charity and all the profits go to helping the homeless.
I promise to go drink coffee there (and take photos) when next that side of town.

Very nice, just in the right spirit.

Our coffee does not give you wings, but MAN, it tastes good.

Now it would be nice to be able to tell pakarang that I had reached Oslo via MANCHESTER (that’s in the north of England!!!!) just so I could visit and photograph another Starbucks especially for him….but a Lady cannot tell a lie…
(The truth is that the EDI-CPH flight was fully booked, and the Norwegian direct flights had not started at the time of making my arrangements.)

So jealous.... There seems to be a Starbucks on all my corners, if I walk in either direction (walk really far from Norway off course), there is bound to be a Starbucks.... just not in Oslo.

I have read they are planning to come to the Oslo Gardemoen airport in a very large area, but I do not know how far along they are, or how far away in time it'll be.

Squeezed into spare moments, I’ve managed to add to my Starbucks count on recent travels…starting with three new additions from Thailand! Dedicated to pakarang naturally!

Very pleasant to sit outside on the balcony.
