The view from the top of the stairs, looking the full length of the premises. There is also some seating off to the far left beyond the counter.

View from my window-side settee (from where I also took the first photo of the stairs corner).

It is undoubtedly these original windows (and the view of Princes Street and the castle to be seen from them) that give this branch of Starbucks its appeal.

A couple of interior shots of the Edinburgh George Street /corner of Castle Street Starbucks.
The guys in the photo had been amused by my attempts at photographing a visiting Teddy Bear on vacation from Starbucks-deprived Norway drinking a Mocha Frappuccino!

                          A Starbucks cartoon!!!!! Brilliant.
Errrr, kind of made me think that if pakarang owned a Starbucks, what with all the CV family popping in and his own coffee consumption, there might not be too many actual paying customers!

I was just having a discussion with a new Thai friend today: we both seem to have a "severe" Starbucks addiction and due to the lack of such wares in town, we are both going through some serious withdrawal issues.

Coffee is really addictive: Starbucks even more so... am I right?
