          How about a cement factory turned apartment?

          It is obviously very "in" to run old factories into habitats. This one is located outside of Barcelona, Spain.

                          It is a bit of stretch for this thread but one of my favorite design features of Washington DC is the reflecting pools. Well, on my last visit they were closed for renovation.

                              Oh Dane what a smile you gave me with that last photo showing the dome peeping from the load of ....errrrrr.... sand....That would make such a witty illustration to some essay or political commentary in times of crisis!!!!!! You should sell it to Newsweek for a cover pic!!!!!
