                    This thread is absolutely amazing... no no no no, I mean A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !

                    The detail shots from inside the power station is so interesting: it's almost as if people just vanished, and time has caught up with the place. Love this kind of photography so very much.

                        Just over two months earlier, the Greenlandic flag was raised here next to the Rasmussen memorial stone. Many Greenlanders had travelled to this symbolic place from Qaanaaq for the ceremony. The Greenlandic parliament now has control over internal matters although Denmark still controls security and foreign affairs.
