Okay. There it is. It is Ingapirca or also called Hatun Canar in Ecuador.

Yes, you've found it - and quickly, too, Ralf. All yours now.

Okay. Let's try something rather different. What and where is it?

Maritime surveillance plane. But which nationality??

If Ombugge is right, then I suggest Chinese.

Plane is the correct guess of the look. Maritime surveillance, yes, but it is not the main purpose. Chinese??? No.

My first guess was that we are inside the SOFIA, NASA's Boeing 747.... Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy, but this one seems to be "out of service" in the image.

It must be some kind of US plane, based on the seals on the walls.

This is a great one, I'd love to figure this one out!

Isn't it too narrow bodied to be a 747?(even if in the "tophat")

Hey, you are both thinking in the right direction! I am convinced, that you should not think too tight with dimensions. Study the details and use some fantasy. It is not the SOFIA, and also not a look-a-like of it...

Is it a film set,or Something like that?

            Comment

I love this puzzle, and I have spent nearly an hour online searching for an answer.

I agree with ombugge, it's probably too narrow to be a 747. But it's definitely something US (Navy/ Air Force).... I would guess it's in a museum too.

The derelict presentation confuses me: as if it would be closed to public. There are missing screens and missing "chairs", and there seems to be missing part of the roof too... water leak?

Yves and jan-olav: both correct: film set and museum.

OK, this one wasn't as easy as I had initially anticipated.

I'm looking through Internet to find clues, but you have chosen a good object because it's really hard to find the correct phrase to use on google.

It is a fake 747 isn’t it? The film set for the movie Big Game at Bavaria Filmstadt, Munich. Think it was supposed to be Air Force One?

Very good, mark! Yes, we visited my brother and he has his office on that area. This inspired me to this puzzle for our aircraft geeks. That was fun and ovet to you, mark!

OK - will post later. Lost our DSL connection yesterday, so couldn't do anything last night.

WOW, impressive. I was initially looking at a 747 but decided that it was too narrow.

As a cinema prop, it could off course be faked as a 747.

I have never spent as much time searching for the answer, as much as this one. I guess I enjoyed this one as much because of my interest in aircrafts.

                    Thanks for a great puzzle!

OK, so this one is probably a very easy one, so let's see how quickly it gets solved. Where's this fellow?

Ouch! Very easy one? They are painting horse statues all over the world, you can even buy some out of Chinese production for your home and garden. I checked hundreds of pictures but could not find even one with such a concrete plate, where you can grab it with a fork lifter. Architecture could be anywhere, although i think the bridge railing is not German. But Northern hemisphere i guess. But i am lost.
