No not Holland. I think in this area you can find only artificial tulips.

No takers? Maybe a clue is needed.
This chapel is reachable only in good conditions of weather.

OK, where is this and - for a bonus pat on the back - what is the name given to this type of bridge?

Nowww, the water seems calm, so won't be much troubled .LOL

Maybe it is a Clapper bridge (can't find a French translation, perhaps pont-planche.
    Here is a wiki link
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clapper_bridge

Not sure but this one could be located at Postbridge, Dartmoor, Devon.
Anyway it is an ingenious construction and I'd like to see it in its surroundings.

Well done, Yves. Yes, a clapper bridge it is, at Postbridge on Dartmoor, and thought to have been built in the 13th/14th centuries. The nearby bridge mentioned in the article https://www.britainexpress.com/attra...ttraction=2829 was built in the 1780's, see below, and it was from there that I took the clapper bridge photo.

Although it was quite possible that someone might know the term "clapper" and even guess that it was in England, I really thought it would take a bit longer to find !
      So back to Yves.

OK. A new one to solve. Where is this island .

        Comment

          In the Faroes. Litla Dimun.
You know, Google and its pics. has become so comprehensive now that it spoils it for us. At one time we really had to turn detective and try to identify objects in the photo, gradually narrowing it all down until we found the answer.
But don't let's give up on this reinvigoration of a great thread.

Fortunately, there are still a few obscure beaches in South East Asia never photographed on Google. Maybe…..

Yes Ivy, it was Litla Dimun the smallest island in the Feroes.

I've got a BIG, BIG problem suddenly. Many of my photos on CVF and Flickr have just disappeared.
I had an online notice this morning to say that Adobe Flash had an update ready for me to download. I followed the first few little windows but it didn't seem to download. Tried several times. In the end I just closed all the windows without taking any action. The original notification said that if I didn't download it would do so automatically in 45 days. I can't see why, but am assuming that the problem relates to Adobe. It's a strange coincidence.
I will try to post another puzzle pic. when I've chosen one, but if it won't work then perhaps someone else will step in.

Strange. But it seems to be a problem outside your computer. Try again later. Maybe the server had an overflow due to too much downloads at the same time...

Yes, that's what I eventually decided, Ralf, though I was in a dead panic at first, thinkng that I'd done something dreadful. I tried again this morning, playing about with Flickr, which still seemed up the creek with its displaying/non displaying of my photos, altough thry seemed to be creeping back here on the forum.
Then, guess what? I've just been on Flickr again to try and find their contact page, and for some reason I decided to refresh the start page of the Photostream. Suddenly they were all there!
I've not checked the forum to see if they seem to have reappeared here as well, but will just take it for granted. Phew!

Very well. What is this building and where is it?
