The windows of the building to the right and the no-parking-sign. Are we in Canada?

Okay, then this must be Ford's Theater in Washington D.C., the place where Abraham Lincoln was shot in 1865.

It shows a piece of technology. Lets call it a model to give you an impression of the original.

It is not called a museum actually, but it is something similar. Some kind of exhibition.

I start with the classical question; Are we in Germany????

Seen the sign from the motorway so many times now, one day we'll have to stop and visit!

Just seems like such a strange place to build such huge ships, and then work out how on earth to get them out of the river and to the sea.

OK - I'll try to find us something new.
                  Cheers,

An old photo, but I doubt that the shape of the hills has changed much!!

Looks like Tibrogargan et al in the Glasshouse Mtns in Queensland but that could be way off.....

Spot on Nari! When I was working in Singapore, playing with trains, about 25 years ago (really that long?) we had a break of a couple of weeks when I couldn't do much. Instead of staying there and kicking my heels or coming home and then straight out again, I caught a flight to Brisbane and spent some time on the Sunshine Coast and its Hinterland. Wonderful, beautiful area. Your turn then Nari.
                    Cheers,

I don't post photos, Mark, as I am too reluctant to join sites like Flickr - it's complicated. However as so many here do a great job with photos, someone may like to take up the slack.
The hinterland of the Sunshine coast is quite spectacular, and lots of people try to climb the mountains with very mixed success. I like them as they are all that is left of a massively long range which has eroded away, leaving "hard core" remains.
                  Working...
