Not so dark shot. This is Greenport Venlo building:

The place is indeed a Logistics Hub: http://www.seaconlogistics.com/en/ne...he-netherlands

Even if we have to wait for Thijs to confirm, I'll say you are right and won this round.

yes your right about Venlo Svein,(near) Venlo.
          congratulations ,and over to you.

my image was taken from a highway viaduct over the highway A67 between Eindhoven and Venlo to Germany.
where it was al about was the big building ''portal'' but couldend say anything for a cleu.
the purple sign ''paint away'' was the logo of Holland Casino ,not that many places have that casino.
the bleu ''paint away'' is a garage of Scania with a big sign of Venlo.
left behind the trees a truckstop, not that many in holland
the big buildings ,yes a logistic hub,not that many and mostly at major highway crossings.

          now the image of Ombugge

indeed a logistic hub,for fruit and vegatables, even maybe flowers ,and some other goods,i'm there regular too,to discharge fruit, but outside the image.
the portal building ,maybe it's now connected to the greenport, but it was build for the Floriade some years back as the visitorscentre for the gardens, the bridge was/is the pedestrians bridge from the parking place to the gardens.

so the ''what place is this'' wasn't the greenport, but the floriade building, on my image you can't see the greenport.
and i was worried that it was to easy for Mark, there was the possability that he was driving there on his way to Luxembourgh.

          the maps says it all.

          red star my image taken.

GE image so old it's not even on it.
          yellow star the building

You assume too much of me Thijs! I knew it was the Netherlands, and I knew I recognised the building - but I couldn't remember where on earth it was. Not the route to Luxembourg for us, but one of the routes to the North when we use(d) the Channel crossings rather than the North Sea crossings.

            Well done Svein.
            Cheers,

            Mark.

Sterkie, old dear, it's Steve's birthday today. Do you think we could celebrate by you setting the next puzzle on his thread- your reward for winning the last one? Thijs has reminded you ages ago, but it's like talking to a brick wall, as we say!

I think this is taken on part of the Afsluitdijk which finally enclosed the Zuider Zee. Completed in 1932 to celebrate the year of my birth.
