It has already lasted a lot longer than 9 min. Maybe because there isn't much to identify this place, except that it is probably in the the low countries, most likely in Holland??
What looks like three church domes may be a clue, but I'm not able to find out where.

Correction. Google search came up with this one:

                  Which lead to this:

                  And on to this:

                  Which leads to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leerdam

the other cleu was the sand, used for the glas factory.

Yes I thought it may be a water tower, but did not notice the pile of Silica sand being watered down there.
I'll have to look for another obscure beach in S.E.Asia and beyond now then. Reverting.

Well said, Thijs: "watertower, which don't come up very offen on google images"
I checked several hundreds of water towers, but this one did not show up!
I found no other clue in the picture than the Dutch road signs. The picture quality was low, so i couldn't read the signs and the ship's names.
                      Well done, Ombugge.

I saw the sand being watered, but associated it with building more "lego bricks" rather than making glass.

OK, no obscure beach this time but where in the world would you be able photograph a man sitting on his front porch enjoying his opium after days hard work??:

Since there are no clues as to the exact location, name of Country and Stat/Territory is sufficient.
Name of Photographer will be released when solved.

Not in Brasil, or anywhere else in South America.
I don't think you'll find many traditional Opium smokers in South America. Their traditional drug is coco leafs.

Myanmar is much closer and the world's second largest Opium producer, with a large number of drug addicts, but not so many smoking Opium the traditional way.

Maybe I'm wrong but this photo leads me to Malaisia.

Can't find a picture of this man's hat.

Not Malaysia or Orang Asli. Malaysia has very strict Laws against drug use, with death sentience for trafficking and jail sentence for users, if caught.
Any Opium smokers still around has gone under ground.

S.E.Asia in a broad geographical and ethnic sense, but not in a geopolitical sense.
