Yves, you must take more care in your What Place adventures, we can't afford to lose you in these dubious places.
Yes Mark, well done. See if you can find time in one of your various secret Scandinavian locations to post the next puzzle.

It would be great if someone has another puzzle first - I'm somewhat limited in time and photos for the next few days!
      Cheers,

      Mark.

Thanks Yves! Nah - not on NS - not on anything that floats really. Back to the real world soon (unfortunately).

Just to get it out of the way - are we in the Loire Valley?

But am I right in thinking somewhere in France? Wherever it may be it looks a very gracious house, at least from this angle.

Agree with Ivy's France feeling. But I'm wondering if I should be looking at my wine books rather than my architecture books perhaps, Yves?

I think you are on to something there, but France appears to have a lot of Chatheaux all over the place.

Yes Ivy we are in France.

And yes Cecilia,a wine book would be very suitable.

I think we might be just outside Bordeaux - at Chateau Haut-Brion.

I'm so sure I have drunk this Chateau.......

I was sure I recognised the building as a drawing or engraving of some kind, and then veered towards wine labels rather than in an architectural context. I'd thought claret was most likely, and spent some time unnecessarily touring the Medoc! - until it stuck me that there was also this Graves included in the 1855 classification as a First Growth!

Since the label, the chateau seems to have extended on the left of the photo, and something peculiar has happened to one of the turrets!

OK, RAPIDLY posting a new puzzle for you before going out - so should be EASY!

Swedish variety of Stavkirke?? (Modern version)

                          I have two questions.
                          1-Are we in Scandinavia?
2-Does this building have a farmwork use?

OK, I didn't really think it was a replica of a Stavkirke.
Where in Sweden this farm is I do not know. Probably not too far north, since this looks like a Grain Silo, and not on the flatland in the far south, since there appears to be a granite quarry as well.

That was a NO to anything to do with farms, Ombugge.
