Comparing a 3-series BMW with your Opel will maybe have the result, that the BMW is "cooler", but:
What about space for passengers and luggage?
What about the ability of driving across snowy roads?
Which fuel you have to fill in?
and at least: Which price you have to pay?

For me no question: also a "cool car" should be practicable..

I enjoy watching Top Gear (BBC) and listen to them talk about "caravaners". They are something that has all but disappeared on US roads. I remember they were very popular back in the 1970's. A few differences I notice are: Our campers (caravan) are much larger and pulled by much larger vehicles. When they wreck they almost never stay in one piece. There are usually clothes, dishes, towels, pillows and an oven & refrigerator strewn about the highway as they tear apart at high speed like a beer can. Our caravan accidents often look more like airplane crashes.

i hate those things, always in your way,now last year oure wise guys in the hageu (goverment) had dissided that the are allouwd to drive 90 km/h instead of 80 .so that they not be in the way of truckers.
but when you see how they drive ,i think they believe they al pressentate top gear

As far as I can tell, this is a discharged Royal Norwegian Army Hägglunds Bv206...., Bv being short for 'Bandvagn'.
Some of these were auctioned off some years ago at fairly reasonable prices.
Buyers were mostly Red Cross, owners of high mountain hotels and cottages.

They are fully allowed on white plates and also to drive wherever they want, due to the fact that the tracks are made of rubber and therefore leave no marks in the asphalt.
