When driving to Åndalsnes, and passing this old NY cab in 100 km/h over Fursetfjellet, it looked rather ok.
But when I stopped to take a picture on my return from Åndalsnes, it looks like a wreck and completely rusted through.
No problem for the right hands though, to get this up and running again :-)

      Oh, goodie....

In regards to that old yellow cab ---- in the image, it looks like a Titanic size vehicle. Was it as big as I think it was?

When I look closer, it looks like it has been modified, because that back door is huge!

I might be wrong but was it a Chevrolet (think I almost recognize the car mark on the bonnet)?

Sorry, Jan-Olav...., I can't tell if it is a Chevy. Did not get out of my car, because the area was guarded by lights switched on by movement, cameras and more. I did expect a huge guard dog, but luckily it did not appear.
Yes, I would think this is a modified NY cab, as the normal ones are not this king-sized..., and of course there are those rims. Didn't like'em at all. Does not fit the car.

I know we have some members who like this kind of brutal looking vehicles:

While other members like the more sporty look. Well here is a bit of both:

All seen at the Waterfront Hotel, Labuan FT, East Malaysia.

More cars seen in Malaysia. In Johor this time.
Why would anybody need a car like this outside of a war zone??:

These two are more normal, but in need of of some tender loving care.
The van lack some in luster, but makes up for it with patriotism:

This van seen in Malacca could also do with some attention:

Noticed these two sports cars parked outside Suntech City in Singapore a few days ago:

                Any takers to the offer??

I checked it. 15 minutes (!) cost 200 Euro. Expensive for a ride around the block. 30 minutes 300 Euro and 1 hour 500 Euro.
The owners have just to rent the car 400 hours (or 16 days) to get the price for the new car back...

WAOW.... that was an expensive ride!

I think I rather take a normal TAXI....

This one is not for test driving at any price. I'll rather take a taxi then owning and driving this car in Singapore.

For some reasons unfathomable large SUVs and Offroaders are popular in Singapore:

I have no clue why, since there is no need for it. Unless you drive on jungle tracks in Malaysia there is no real need for it.
Then again, there isn't much need for a car like the one in #431 either, but there are plenty of that type to.

This is a Ford Custom Club Coupe V8 model 1949.

And note to all in the neighbourhood: Kristiansund will be filled with such cars Saturday 9. May from 10:00 to 16:00, as it's the annual 'Bilens- og motorsykkelens dag'.

There will be AmCars, military vehicles, old classic cars, special groups of old English classic cars, old cars from many different professions, US roadtrucks and on top of it all; the Norwegian national society of old restored fireengines and firetrucks will have their annual meeting in Kristiansund this day, so there will be a huge ammount of such red vehicles in town.

I have a feeling the Pentax might get hot :-)

(And you might be on shift that day, Jan-Olav, as usual when something happen?)
