Spring Meeting of the Indre Nordmøre Veteranvogn Klubb 2013

Time for the spring meeting in Indre Nordmøre Veteranvogn Klubb 2013, and just as when I visited the meeting in 2011, the weather was perfect...
The location, as in 2011, was again the beautiful area around Trædal Motel & Gjestgiveri and there were 35 cars on the participation list.

Let me start with an old Opel Kadett

    Austin Healey 3000 Mk. II

    Interior of the Healey

Citroen DS (Nickname Padde (Toad) in Norway)

There were also an old motorbike present. This is a BMW driven by a guy 82 years old. His butty well over 70 was in the sidecar....
                  Can you imagine the couple?

This concludes my report from this years spring meet in the veteran car club at Sunndalsøra. Hope you all enjoyed... (I know Ralf did..., that white Citroen DS in particular. Right Ralf? ).

Amazing to see all these great cars from a bygone era, and all honor to those who spend lots of time to put the cars in order and show them off to us.

And all the credit to the photographer as well, superior images

Thank you Svein for taking us all back in time.
                    Best wishes from
                    Bengt Domben

What a joy to see, so many nicely designed cars, great weather and great photographs.

Tip: don't forget to bend your knees once a while, some cars looks nicer from a lower perspective.

Thanks Tommi, but take a look in the thread 'Spring meeting of the Indre Nordmøre Veteranvogn Klubb 2011' .
There I was crawling around on my knees almost the hole time with my 10-17mm mounted ;-)
As for the 2013 thread, I was on my knees for the MB SL180 images, one of the DeSoto images, one of the Moskvitch images, the Ford Fairline image, Volvo rear end image and classic Ford image.
This time, all my pictures were taken with the Pentax 18-135mm, a perfect lense for me. I'm so happy I changed it for the Tamron 18-200 because I now don't have to worry about bluriness in the picture edges and corners....
Thank you for taking time looking at my images anyway. Means a lot :-)

Wonderful images and again a couple of cars which we don't see anymore in Germany, like the Sunbeam, Hillman or the Chrysler 180.

                          To your questions:
The Moskvitch is a 402 if the sign tells this. It is the typical grill shape of the 402. Only the 407 of 1959 hat this design, later they becam a flat grill.
The DeSoto is clearly the Adventurer Model 1960 or 1961, and is one of the last.
The Mercedes is a little bit tricky. If it is very rare it must be a 300SE (W112), but i can see that not befor have seen the rear end. The double lights in front are a typical design for a US - Version, but the indicators have been in an extra place there, these lamps were used normally for the Coupé's, sometimes you see them on cars of Eastern countries. The body can also be a W111, which is not rare at all.
But maybe you made another picture?

Thank you for all the good info!
To be frank, I did not get behind that black MB. I overheard one telling the price as purchased was between NOK 400 and 500.000,-.

There is nothing like waking around looking at old cars like these: restored with so much time, money, love and and affection.

Like the red MB bought like a rusted wreck from America..... imagine how much time you need to invest to make something stand out like that!? Impressive - really impressive.
