I'm afraid this will make grim reading; but this story from VG is about a truck driver who had mounted a table (like yours) in the front window, with a laptop up top. He was stopped by the police and road authorities and told to dismount the stuff, and he nearly lost his licence. I hope the dutch police are more liberal.....

But he had a laptop permanently mounted on the table, Sigve, and was posting at the time. It does not seem to be the table per se that was the problem, but the PC obstructing vision as it obviously was as well as distracting him from his driving. It said that if he were stopped again with a PC on the dashboard he'd be in serious trouble. Quite rightly, too.

i see this more and more, most of them use them as a navigation eqiupment,so nicely big.
however some of them i see them looking for as a tv/moviescreen.
but so far i have seen them typing on them.
the most problem the police have is that the screen is blocking the vieuw of the driver.

if i let it translate through the site,a stupid story came up,but some parts and how and what there stands i could make it a story.

how ever, a NO LAPTOP on the dashboard standing driver vame home this day after 3 days, and i was in Antwerp Belgium near the sea locks there shot some images of vessels, but also from a white merc.

        best regards Thijs

And where on earth did you get them???????
By the way, those thingies you stuck on the cab roof have the wrong colour scheme. They should have blue bands, not red.

I have been wondering what janihudi has mounted on top of his cab roof, and I think this must be an extra large and powerful fan for his air conditioning...

With all the "hot air" coming from his direction something powerful is certainly needed, Sigve. [Sorry, but I can't translate the idiom "hot air" into Norwegian or Dutch. It means a lot of jabber jabber (gewauwel in Dutch?)

RUST Thijs? But you've not had it long, what have you been doing with the Cruiser?????
OK, all about Antwerp in due course, full story, mind you!
