The silhouette's very amusing, isn't it? And you were quick getting the mudflaps on.

I didn't refresh before posting so you beat me to it. But hey - what's that dribbly mess between the wipers in the last photo? (Can't have him getting too full of himself. )

I need bigger mudflaps for my truck too.... it seems like if there is one drop of liquid on the road, the wheels will find a way to throw them up on the side of my car.

probally not,it would be to expencive.
every table is a single work,i don't have the machine to make it as a serial product,so every table i have to draw it over from my mold.

                        this one like it is would cost then;

                        wood and metal 15,00 euro
mascottes (if availeble) where years back 20.00 for one,2 makes 40,00
                        rubberduck about 150,00
                        pedestal 50,00
                        stain and varnish 10,00
carpet i got some left from cab floor, but buying it is 1x4 meter, lets say 40,00
labour ,it;s take some hours ,drawing sawing ,sanding, staining. 50,00 (why for free??)
                        other materials 5,00
                        total 360,00.

but i have the mascottes more then 20 year's
rubberduck a gift from Dane, but i also counted post cost's with that, don't know how much it wil be from America to Giessen

so without those costs of what i had, it would be

                        wood and metal 15,00
                        stain and varnish 10,00
                        labour 50,00
                        other materials 5,00
                        carpet (lets say ) 10,00
                        total 90,00 euro

but it will can cheaper, when in black, because i can skip out then the 4 layers of stain, but instead ground layer, black paint and varnish.
so no sanding after each layer, not to mention to make the burr-walnut look.

i'm pritty proud too,for what the table ends up and having finally the ''duck'' displayed,a duck that you don't see much here.

yes it's gonna bee a big bill now, spend already more on this truck then al the others together.
but then again in the 80's and 90's there was not that availeble what is now.
but things like curtains tv, screen, tigercarpet and some other things i had those in the daf too.

a dutch frikandel or a german frikandel?
                                best regards Thijs

OK, I'll go for them. They'd better be well flavoured!

Thiis, you need German frikandels? No problem, we can tray to smuggle some through the severe Dutch borger controls.
                                  How many do you need?

Ivy, we will show you in Germany. We never buy them, at our house all is handmade.

no need for that Ralf, because in need a kaiserbrotchen as well then, for the pure German feel.
we make the meatballs by our self too, when we eat them at house, but from time to time i get me one at a feulstation.
and after all a flattend meatball is a frikandelle
