      It's madning.
But i have taken as it had to bee like this.
He won't be so goodlooking ( new painted wheels, no tank damages) as the old HC was for the show 5 years back

    oof, that changes a lot.
after a cloth with thinner and Commandant polish the paint damage was about 90% less

a first try with the staining ,how to do with the second layer

    mahogany over nut stain

    best regards Thijs

      nut over nut stain

i decidet to go with nut over nut, sanding when it's dry and than a new try for another nut or mahogany.
      so nut over nut here

i will, but sometimes i'm scared the sh1t out of driving over a speed bump.
stop the truck a pump up the air suspension.
while i've been there before and nothings wrong then.

the table is at the end, almost
3 layers of nut stain,a layer of mahogany, anf tohight another nut stain over it.
also glued the cloth on a piece of hardboard
if i will be home tomorrow, i can sand it ,and spray a layer of varnish over it
place the michelin mascottes and the rubberduck and it's done.
ohh and place a drawer knob to pull it open
          best regards Thijs

              that plan felt to pieces.
didn't came home wednesday,or thursday,so couldend do anything, just irritating about if i had the time to finish it.
if not, than i would place the table without the varnish.

Sounds like you will need some kind of echolot or radar, which will warn you if there is not enough "water under your keel", you Captain of the Highway.
            Or an underfloor camera???

hahahahahaha..... A radar and/or an echo sounder would perhaps be a useful tool for truck drivers too.

And to add further nautical instruments to your truck, you'll need the warning system we have installed on the ferry too: "You have too high speed entering the manoeuvre zone", "You are entering a manoeuvre zone", "You are leaving your designated area" and so on....

              i got those thinghys.

              distant radar

in cruise controle mode, keeping the distance between the prodecessor and me. (which is great,i hate those drivers just a meter a front of me.LOL)
out of cruise controle there sounds a buzzer, whatch out, there is a FOOL near in front of you.
but anyway ,the truck brakes automaticly.i hate that device, but keeps my bumper intact

              laneguard

a buzzer comes out of the radio speaker left or right, just depending which side i cross the road line.
irritating device, switch off after the start, or after the first time i crossed a line

truck ready, went up to the attic,
sprayed the table in the farnish so the underside could dry.
gleued the last pieces of the cloth ( had to make the hole for the rubberduck pedestal)
                      and take a shower.
farnish was dry how turned it over and sprayed the topside.. 00.45am time to go to bed
                      with a lot of musclepain.

back to the attic to finish the table
