I made a video with some of my stills, to show all some of what we did in the past year in the club. Accompanied by a tune from the Norwegian band 'Røyksopp' from Tromsø. Enjoy!

If you click into YouTube, you'll find it under my nick there Sterkoder. I find it more difficult to paste YouTube videos to CVF now that on the old platform.
I would be happy if you manage to post it here..., on my behalf, so to say

Thank you so much. Don't know what I do wrong

I really like Röyksopp, so I get goosebumps when I look at it. Don't know about you. Perhaps one has to have a certain interest towards green vehicles as well...

              It's officially spring!
Today saw the roll-out from winter storage of my Volvo. Washed it inside and put on the top...., even drove a couple of kilometers

Happy spring and happy easter, Mr. Sterkoder.

Isn't it a great time of the year - especially that moment when you walk outside and "suddenly" notice the birds singing, and the air is "different"?

It's an amazing time of the year - and with that, I wish you many happy, SUNNY days ahead with LOTS of wonderful kilometers on the road in utmost safety!

Birds singing, different air..., that was today here in Kristiansund.

Happy Easter to you too, my friend. Among smaller trips, daytrips, local runs and such, we plan three major gatherings this year.

19.-21. May we go to Melland Fort at Skardsøya in Aure, 16.-18. June we gather with HMK Trøndelag and HMK Gudbrandsdal and gather for a great meet in Oppdal and finally 25.-27. August we go to Gammelsetra Camping between Molde and Elnesvågen.

Other than that it's Bilens og Motorsykkelens Dag 6. May and right now I'm in charge of the planning of a one day meet we will have at Løkkemyra shopping center near the airport 22. April.
This is a meeting to "show off" and present ourselves to other potential new members, car owners or people interested in preserving military history.

Sounds like a busy year ahead - wish you well and lots of great smelling fumes.

PS: I mean.... I was at Stockholm Arlanda Airport a few days ago, on the runways close to the aircrafts... and the smell of jetful really is ..... better than French perfume! I guess you have some similar feelings towards the smell of fuel...? Are we so-called petrol heads (me being a jet-fuel-head).....

Oh yes, the best smells there are: JET-A1 jetfuel, military depot and canvas. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :-)

Not only Volvos, but also a M6 truck, a couple of Dodge WCs, a Dodge Ambulance and several Willys/Ford Jeeps: it was time for the annual trip to Melland in Aure again.
This year we were 10 vehicles and 15 persons and 6 small-wall tents, and we had the most beautiful weather..., again. Here are some of my pictures from this years trip of 19.-21. May.

Our convoy embarked on the landing craft (car ferry) BJOERNSUND at 1800 hours Friday evening

The ferryman enjoyed our vehicles..., rock-and-roll

After disembarking at Tømmervåg, Tustna, we had to regroup for the four miles drive out to Fort Melland at Skardsøya

Somebody forgot (!) their beer, so we stopped for a while to wait for them to shop in a local store

After a while we came to the camp area and raised the club flag

My Volvo and tent again, as all started to rig their camp spot. I'll just post camp images

Gathering around the camp fire Friday night

                        Breakfast Saturday morning

Sunday we had rain coming in and we broke out of camp rather early, mainly to save the old wartime canvas tents from water

One of the Jeeps had a radiator leakage, so we had to make a couple of stops to refill water on our way to the landing craft returning to Kristiansund.
Here we are at the gas station Best, Aure

Oh yes, we took some space in the line up to the ferry

Excellent report Sterkoder. There is a certain aura, a certain nostalgic feeling when looking at the shots.... I'm sure you are feeling the same thing when on the road and at the camp. Additionally, there is a part of me that almost expects the characters from the series MASH to pop into any shot now.
