What is the purpose of the "flag poles" attached to the front bumper on these trucks????

yes there where a lot of nice trucks there, but also a lot that i have taken last year.
but when you have diesel in your vanes like me,it's always nice to see those trucks you normal don't see on the road.
started this thread i hoped to see more trucks from over the world, but not many see the truck as a photographobject.

last week i got not only diesel in my vanes but also in my mouth too.
drive to long with a to low diesellevel in tank hoping that i will manage to the filingstation.
        WRONG
so with a watersnake or garden hose as also cald
i get some from my college,so had to suck about 10 times to start it again.

driving to home when i was burping the taste of diesel came back in my mouth again.
coming at home and want to my wive, she send me away.

i think she doessnt love me anymore,SINGLE ladies here??

          Fantastic images guys!!!!
Those old Ford CustomCab and boxer Bedford images brought back memories from late 60s early 70, when almost all of the cargo trucks with our community were such.
In fact there were also a couple of guys driving Themes Traders, dark grey I remember, and I must say...., these images of yours here are so great!!

I'm also a huge US Trucks fan, and let me flash my sympathy-flag at once...., I'm a Kenworth guy.

origanelly to mark the corners of you're truck, you can't see the bumper from out you're seat, and there are no mirrors to see it.
these day you see them on a lot of trucks and not only on torpedo trucks but also on a cab over engine truck as a pimp my ride article.

can you remind those antennees under the bumper of the big american cars???

those where to protect the whitewalls tyres and wheelcaps.
the antennees are outside the car,so when they come to close to the sidewalk the antennees are scrathing the sidewalks so when you hear that, you know you are to close

don't have much kenworth's in store, maybe on print had to look for it.

but just as with the old passingervessel,i like the old type trucks more then the new models, ships or trucks.don't like the new type nose of those americans.
but both from the same point of view,to win more money.

                here is one kenny

maybe that wesley have some of them
