Lookchin, on Crystal you can eat anything you want....all desserts if you'd like!!!

Just remember that there are some people on your daddy's beloved Crystal Symphony that remember him--so you will have to behave a LITTLE...no FOOD FIGHTS with your cousins Hutch or Emerson!

As you have seen, Lookchin is very lightweight, and this may be the cause of the difficulties he sometimes has with heavy objects. I noticed when he went shopping that he placed some heavy items in his shopping bag on top of more delicate ones. Fortunately he hadn’t bought any eggs! But the Battenburg cake he had chosen (after reading about cakes on CVF) got a bit squashed on one side and the marzipan started to fall off. Lookchin declared this to be a sign that the cake should be consumed immediately – and proceeded to do so!
Hey there Lookchin, leave a piece for me – your Aunt C likes marzipan too!

I got to browse the forum today, and liked your photos of the ship Albatros very much especially the pakarang view. Cool that you got to see a ship with your friend on the same day as I went with my friend Sea-Troll on Britannia! I have been awarded a special badge because I was the Captain. Everyone says how well it goes with my sweater.

LC is such a good embassador of goodwill, charm and knowledge...

Has he been able to meet up with any locals, children or charities, or such a like?

It's so fantastic that he seems to be doing well, and not too home sick yet...

As you might have seen he was not allowed to go to the pub.
Just met the clientele of Starbucks...

It will probably be best if he tries such drinks under his Aunt E’s close supervision

Due to his considerably delayed arrival here, Lookchin missed out on a couple of occasions when he might have met local people outside his own circle of new friends. But he tells me has a "plan" for when he briefly returns here after his cruise and American vacation. (Apparently that is something in addition to a couple of essential sightseeing excursions he is insisting on.)

Meanwhile, time is running out, and we have to pack for our departure to Rome tomorrow! My packing will, I think, take a bit longer than his even though I’m only away for a few days. I have a theory that the complexity of packing and preparing to go away has no correlation with the length of vacation, and however organised one is there is always a need for just one extra day to accomplish everything in non-panic mode!

Lookchin is leaving some photos and diary notes with me, which I have promised to post for him when I return from Rome.

Would love to witness the "non-panic" mode as a viewer on the sideline...

The “panic mode” might possibly be more entertaining to watch!

Catch-up time as promised! Sorry it’s all at once , but it has to be done before Lookchin starts posting his cruise pictures!
Because I was so busy and had another visitor as well as Lookchin, he only got my flat to himself for one night. Here is what he had to say about it:

I got to meet new friends today. Torvald is some sort of distant relation of Sea-Troll from Denmark or maybe across in Skåne and he likes to relax in his chair most of the time. Stanley the penguin is from the Falkland Islands and he has sailed aboard Nordnorge.
