Thankfully, they are all safe after some terrifying weather (especially monsoon rain).

Sometimes, I really miss living in Bangkok. I miss friends, the atmosphere and the dynamics of the city that never sleeps. I do not miss the traffic, the excessive heat, the dengue mosquito, the rats... but I do miss a lot of other things associated with living there.

I miss trips to the mall, not because I need to buy something but because they are like a community with all sorts of entertainment and exhibitions. In Norway, a mall is a place to buy something and quickly get out/home again. So lastly different. Climate is naturally a part of the reason I guess.

        FACT:

Muslims are the second largest religious group in Thailand at 4% to 5% of the population. Thailand's southernmost provinces — Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and part of Songkhla and Chumphon — have large populations of Muslims, consisting of both ethnic Thai and Malay.

Thailand has a new King, AND a new Queen.

Queen Suthida served in the special unit of the King’s Guard and was a former flight attendant with Thai Airways. Vajiralongkorn has married her ‘legally and according to tradition’, according to a royal decree.
