Funny side-look on Bangkok, and it's notorious problems:

Some years ago there was an article in BP (or maybe The Nation?) about a Bangkok taxi driver that had been commended for driving carefully and following the rules.
The next day a Letter to the Editor was posted where an indignant resident stated that this had to be stopped IMMEDIATELY!! What if EVERY Taxi driver should follow suite?? There would be total chaos on the roads. Nobody would know how to react to such inconsiderate behaviour.

I included this video in my blog a few days ago, but it's also a very nice film to share with you fine people.

It gives a small insight into the real Thainess and the world which tourists seldom get to see.

              Well worth the few minutes!

I commented appreciatively there earlier, pakarang, before I saw you'd posted the link here too.
Most certainly well worth everyone's few minutes.

It also reminds me how fortunate I am to have had opportunities of meeting Thai people beyond the more typical tourist situations.

I'm not sure if U should post these two episodes in this thread or not.... but it's kind of a part of Bangkok, Suwarnabhumi Airport to be more exact.

BBC has made a documentary TV-series about the life and people of the airport in Bangkok, and naturally, it comes complete with all the exotics varieties Thailand have on offer.

Some big city images from the city in my heart - Bangkok. More specifically, the Pratunam district of Bangkok.

That square looking building in the middle is the INDRA REGENT HOTEL - one of the old hotels of Bangkok... I stayed there many decades ago for a few nights, don't remember much of it.

I can't help it but being interested in land developments here, the use of office buildings, available plots and land and so on... hence, I also noticed this unused ofice building at Pratunam Palladium.

.I enjoyed working out the directions and views, and that's a super image of the empty offices.
