    The 2004 TSUNAMI in Thailand.

    The 2004 TSUNAMI in Thailand.

Scary how fast things went in this video. Watch the clock in this non stop video taken from the time just before the water disappeared from the beach the first time. We are talking about massive amounts of water.

That he apparently kept filming continuously, does indeed emphasize just how much water came in such a short time.
I appreciated the simply stated, and thus all the more moving, epilogue that they have added at the end of their video.

That is simply amazing. Terrifying. You imagine a tsunami as a big tall wall of water, almost like a rogue wave....but this made it more terrifying in that it was so quick, and, almost unnoticeable at first....

It still gets me every time I see clips such as these... these is a black day.

Imagine all those that perished... it's beyond my worst imagination.

Makes me think also about the acts of people, when the water first disappeared, why didn't they start moving away from the beach...? The sea pulls back several meters... it's time to leave the beach.
