Several CVF members have visited Trollstigen this summer and reported here.
Imagine making the trip up on roller skis: http://www.smp.no/sport/article506290.ece

Or, for those who like adventure not hard work, imagine going DOWN on roller skis. (No brakes)

PS> Notice the fresh new snow on the mountain tops.

Please let me know if it is totally useless of me to share videos such as these.
I'll tell you one thing, my friend..., your posting of videos here is highly appreciated!!
We all need "5 minutes" like this off the stressed lane, and such videos are perhaps just what someone need to 'clear their mind'.
          You're way of finding the best to show us others deserves a 6 on the dize, and let me also tell you one more thing;
your postings are often very missed in here, so me personally is very happy with you posting videos and in such making traffic at CVF.
If I sometimes miss commenting on any video, it's not that I have'nt seen it or read your post, I might have seen it over and over.
Please continue, unlike you, not all are always connected to FB.

That capture of the bee in #137 - 4 made me smile!
Made me think of Saturday when I was out driving. Suddenly I saw a big bee coming towards my car, and surprisingly to me, I heard the sound of it hitting my car roof antenna. 12 points!

Kristian! Only just seen #128/3 –a magical mackerel sky and twice in one picture! Love it.
Great shots you took in Senja too; like the angle of view in that last image at the petrol station. And for a moment I could have been forgiven for thinking Sterkoder had been with you taking that church photo.

Paks, I have discovered so much from your links to videos and the like, and Sterkoder speaks for so many of us, I’m totally sure of that. I always think of those kind of posts of yours as “Captain’s Choice”. To me that’s the top of an award stars recommendation.

For those who prefer to take their adventures in a warm and dry environment in front of the computers, here is a change to join a farmer rounding up sheeps in the mountains of Sunnmore: http://www.smp.no/bildeserier/article506771.ece
              Some spectacular scenery.

This may appeal to somebody. This women has just won the right to stay on at a mountain farm through another winter,
Here is some pictures from Ytste Skote, which appears to be from this spring: http://www.smp.no/nyheter/article452...dex=25#pageTop
Looks like the animals are all friends; the dog and cats are playing together, the dog does not chaise the hens and the horse and goats looks well fed and looked after.
Ideal life for some, as long as there is mobile phone coverage and access to the internet.

This has to be the find of tonight, a wonderful cottage interior, nice, cozy and with a homey feel over it. Great capture.

                        Have to agree with Tommi.

We are a traditional family, so the Christmas celebrations are always performed at home, but when I see these kind of interiors, I would very much like to be in such a cabin during Christmas and New Years Eve.
In fact I belive it would be very relaxing.

Now, with the eye one has for small details, it's rather nice to see that the 'old' oil lamp is CE-marked and approved

                        Great report, Jan-Olav!

It is along the route to/from Trollstigen, near Gudbrandjuvet.

I was looking for it last summer when I made a stop, but time constraint and bus loads of tourists just made me want to continue driving onwards.
