  • This is Troms°

I was outside in the nice weather today and took some photos of the old ship wreck "Ohimara" . The great cormorant arrives early on the morning to rest after catching fish all night. They rest here for the hole day,and in the afternoon they getting ready for some food again.

Looks like who are screaming the loudest gets the best place

There are stills some rivets(nagler?) left.

    Best wishes from

Bengt- these are WONDERFUL!! I love the "squawker" one-- maybe Captain or Seagull can think of a clever caption???????

Thanks so much for sharing, and for giving me a nice smile!

And may they (whoever that might be) never remove that old wreck of "Ohimara"...!!

By-the-way: How did this boat look when "on active duty"...?

Is no problem to see the wreck when you passing by with the coastal steamer. The ships route is only 300-400 meters from wreck.

Thanks Asimut for the annotated photo indicating the wreckĺs position. I also had been wondering exactly where it was situated, after seeing it in so many of your wonderful photos, but had not got around to asking.
