Let me try another idea then:
Drive out to Ringve to take pictures of the wonderful buildings out there, among them the house where Peter Wessel Tordenskjold grew up/lived.
As we all know by now, he was the second captain on board "our" vessel "Shtandart".
But, there might be a thread from Ringve also..., already?

Probably the best looking hotel in Trondheim, and the hotel which has the best hotel breakfast in Norway for the past years (actually, since they opened): Rica Nidelven Hotel, at the bank of Nidelven River:

From a walk in Trondheim today, I noticed this new game... I bet the pay-off is rather small:

The new bridge across Nidelven River seen two different ways, I could not choose which composition I liked the most...

Which composition do you prefer and why?

Some people may remember the fire in Fjordgata some years back, in this old thread on the old board (3 pages).

Today, in March 2010, not much has happened, and when I walked by, I grabbed these two shots:

I often go for your inventive wide angle shots, but in this case I prefer the first as having more impact –probably even more so for you having caught the figure striding purposefully across the bridge.

Thank you so much, I still can't say which one I prefer...

I forgot to share the image of this vessel at the Nidelven today: Brakar:
