Winter is great for pictures, but it is no secret that I can really do without it.... I'm not a winter person at all (grumpy smile):

Can you spot the sculpture at the hill behind the former nautical college at Ladehammeren?

Tresfjord has arrived up in the canal for a rest:

I really like your snowy pictures, even though I don't like snow at all. Trondheim is so beautiful, and I belive I like the one of Nidaros cathedral the best. Thanks!

I truly and wholeheartedly agree with you... I don't like snow, winter, darkness and the lack of colors either. Each year at this time, is a horrible time for me in so many ways! I would have traded the winter months with summer in a heartbeat. Everything is put on hold during the winter and, except from the Christmas time, there is no or little color. Trees are dark, grey or black, as is the snow as well.

Living in a warm to hot country as I do, the idea of a snowy dark winter is very appealing....though it is more to the point that I dislike most of our 4 month summer that seems to get longer each year - or I get less tolerant of blue skies, dead grass and over 30 degrees C. I loved the Trondheim photos, with memories of Kirkenes in November 2014 on Lofoten......blue/blackness and quiet.

I guess the different setting will always be appealing... my friends in Thailand dream of Norway, while I dream of Thailand.

What we do not have, will always be what we want. I guess.

Three very famous churches in Trondheim, as seen from Havstein: Ila Church, Nidarosdomen Cathedral and Our Lady's Church (Vår Frues Kirke):

Good morning, afternoon or evening to you all,

My apologies for posting so many images over these days, but this is a downtime when I ave time to spend with all of you. I hope and pray for your understanding and that you still enjoy looking. I still have a long way to go to catch up with my good friend Sterkoder... he is doing so well capturing new images of his city, while I struggle looking for something to share.

Here are some images taken a little bit earlier, but not yet shared here. I do share images here and in my bLOG too.

A church spire from far away:
