Yes, that would be nice. And hopefully, your schedule won't be as tight as just a few hours.

Thank you for looking at the images, Ralf!

Lady C most certainly does! I’ve already mentioned lingering over ships in the Trondheimsfjord today, (and have bookmarked the just-noticed Ralf trip thread), but first this just HAS to be the uninterruptible rest of my morning!

I was already hooked on the preview Trondheim from different perspectives images before I went away. They reminded me of when I arrived in Leith by ship, even my oft-frequented ship spotter locations scarcely recognisable in reverse view, and there is something navigational too as I look at your Trondheim images, Captain.
For already I had a huge map unfolded beside my computer, marked with pencilled sight lines, as if plotting a course of the gaze of your camera lens.

Thank you for posting all these totally fascinating images, so many of them recalling birds eye views, and making a seagull so happy.

Thank you so very much for your kind comments. For a minute, I was fearing I was the only one who were able to see my recent uploads.

It certainly is nice to rediscover my own city through a super-tele!

Here are some "autumn impressions" from my beautiful city (yes, because I think Trondheim is a beautiful city.... go figure rolfl ).... taken from various locations around town:

SPONHUSET is a local cafe near the path called LADESTIEN (a path that stretched all the way from town to Ranheim, along the fjord). They are open at odd hours during the (s)low season but are open most days during summer.

With a bonus shot from the grounds of Ringve Botanical Gardens not too far away:

I agree. I just had to go out before going to work that day. It was well worth the trip even though I was tired all night through.

Trying to match Tommi's great evening pictures, here are some taken at/ from/ around Grilstad Marina... the development I have pictured literally hundreds of times before:

Some more from that same night at Grilstad... it was amazing out there, like a whole different world.

I had visited a very, very good friend of mine which is a Captain at Emirates Airlines, we had eaten dinner and walked all the way out on the reclaimed land afterwards.

It's so quite out there... it's almost like standing in the middle of the fjord, with the waves on one side, and all the lights from Ranheim, city and Charlottenlund on the other side... to be honest, it's a very surreal feeling standing there. Living so close to the fjord is nothing but superb.

I'm so sorry to bother you with so many shots in one-go, but I hope and know you can bare with me... if not, you don't HAVE to open my replies either...

Excellent images of your autumn impressions and all the other images that you have shown us in this thread.
                              Beautiful picture of Sponhuset

I somehow gets dragged into the picture of the blue sky, cloud stripes, light and Sponhuset with gorgeous color mood with autumn leaves on the ground. Beautifully
Autumn is a lovely time of year.
                              Beautiful photography of a champion
