Nice, but when you fly your "thingy" make sure you look out for eagles: http://www.vgtv.no/#!/video/107027/s...den-til-angrep

WAOW. 3 replies! Thank you all very much Sterkoder, Seagull and ombugge!

Sterkoder, don't worry too much with growing old with the DSLR: you still have many years to go before that happens, and just imagine all the fantastic images you will produce BEFORE you grow old! ADDITIONALLY, you have one of the most talented drawing hands in this part of the country!

Lady C: Thank you very much. Putting together a video, selecting music and fitting in the music with the scenes and scenery is far more work than we can appreciate. Thankfully, it's a whole lot easier now with the softwares available compared to those 20 years ago. Then it was a pain in the butt! I'm not saying it's not a pain in the butt now either, but it's a whole lot EASIER.

The Cha Am film was taken many years ago and is for me quite a sentimental film to me. I have plans of several additional one's but then there is always the question of time, the effort and whether anyone will actually enjoy watching them. The Cha Am one was easy because these friends of mine needed to be surprised and thanked for their everlasting friendship.

I have lots more to show, both images and videos. I have spent quite a lot of time cleaning external harddrives (hence the HDD-posts in my blog), more is sure to come.

ombugge: I saw that one ... near contact with birds! I have myself been in the same situation but that was a very angry seagull (NOT LADY C), but I went for an immediate landing before something got damaged.

While Norwegians are now being ridiculed world-wide (southern-Norway!) for having called Police and complained about too much snow, this is quite normal also in Trondheim. The SNOW, not the complaining on the emergency phone to police.

In sharp contrast to the previous images, here are some other... I'm so terribly sorry I don't have anything more interesting to share than these.

When you say that sort of thing I just KNOW I'm going to like what follows

An amazing mesmerising effect gazing at that green field, and the clouds above the road crossover in the next image - I'm convinced I see the grass swaying in the breeze and the clouds moving!

Trondheim has been well documented over the past 70+ pages and I find it difficult to create something worthwhile, but here are a bunch of photos taken back in August of 2014 in and around Trondheim.

This has been a repeated photo-location for me over the years.... it's got something to do with the old wood and the old structure. Also, history fascinates me.

A few more at the same location, trying out different moods as the light quickly changed:

Seems like I've missed some posts here:

#1051: Ilsvikøra looks like someone built a village inside a town. Well, quite nice concept, even if it feels a bit 'forced'.
#1058: I live that kind of everyday realistic pictures, a lot of weather is present.
#1062: That feeling about not being able to find new ideas, and then kind of succeeding with it anyhow.
#1063/1064/1065: well the wood is pretty, but the light - so honest, vibrant and present.
#1067: not too bad for being backlit images, but there's a bit too much whiteouts
#1068: that's pretty calm weather, niiice reflections!

Looking at Ranheim church, I got a smile on my face, thinking back...
Once, as a photography project, I thought about taking my car to drive around in Norway and take pictures of every church in the country. Purhaps make a picture book with a few essential info facts about the churches afterwards, to partially finance some of my expences.

Of course, a guy with full time work could not do that, not even in a holiday or two, so the idea flew away...

Then, a few years back, when I sat on a Friday night looking at the popular NRK programme 'Norge Rundt'..., there suddenly came an older guy and his wife, both pensioners.
He also had an idea to do this photography tour to picture alle and every one of Norways churches.
NRK made a short video about him as he took pictures of the last church. Don't remember how long a time he had used..., but just imagine how many places he had been.
I mean, it's a church in every city, town, small place and everywhere...

Anyway, this had nothing to do with Trondheim...., so please carry on good people :-)
(Just came to think about it when I saw Ranheim church).
"IF GOD COULD MAKE ANGELS...., WHY IN HELL MAKE MAN?"
