I hope you don’t mind, but I couldn’t resist a little compilation to contrast the seasons!

Here is the view towards Væresholmen together with the summer view:-

And here the road through the farm fields, and, taken from a little further along, you gave us a Spring scene.

      So cool of you!

I didn't even think about the same views during the different seasons!

      Awesome!

Winter is certainly a difficult time to find the PROPER inspiration, and I must therefore rely on good family-members like you to find it.

Here is a report I'd like to share today.... Trondheim is the WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE CITY!

          http://www.adressa.no/nyheter/okonom...cle1754762.ece

          Rough translation the google-way:
          - and why not make it even more expensive?

The parking authority wants to increase the parking fees in town dramatically, perhaps to prevent the shops from over crowding. Bus is not the alternative for many, as they live in places where there is no bus-service or very little bus service.

About report on cost of life in Trondheim,I am very glad:no french cities in the top 16!Nice,I coul'd spent my money as I want!
Congratulations for your photos of the town, they have a soul,a real plastic energy. The lone bench acts as a story tale with the contrast between solitude and city lighs. It is a picture every body can graft his own imagination. As we say in french:BRAVO.

                Re: This is Trondheim

I generally agree to creating some new buildings in the town of Trondheim, modern as well as old... but we must stay with the heritage of our city as well.

There are many ways of incorporating old and new, and I have long wanted a signature building... in addition to A LOT of new apartments and even beautiful light-tower buildings.

But, there is a limit to everything... and in my opinion, this proposed new tall structure at Brattøra doesn't do the city any good.

I do not like the fact that they are building too many wide - and tall - buildings at the empty plot in Brattøra.... and this one is just too high.

I really enjoy the new Trondheimsfjorden.net, and I hope it gets just as popular as Brunsvika.net.
I also see tips are beginning to come, among them the small news about a navy vessel in Hommelvik.
I want this to be such a success that I catch myself in having trondheimsfjorden and the areas around in the back of my head, redy to give J-O a notice should I hear something.

A thing to place on the webpage should possibly be the coming NATO Tiger Meet on Ørlandet in June. This has now turned out to be a huge military air show.

I wish you all the best with these new pages, J-O!

I absolutely second Sterkoder’ s remarks and wishes, (and it’s already improving my Norwegian reading too ).

I’m now more pleased that ever that I’ll be boarding NX in Trondheim and heading off down the fjord on her last trip, and especially as you’ll miss that with being at work.

So I’ll submit a couple of photos for tf, BUT only if you PROMISE to use other peoples similar ones in preference to mine, as they are the locals who it’s vital to encourage to contribute news and pictures on a regular basis.

You might be less likely to get a view from NX as she departs and heads down-fjord though, so that’s where I might come in useful for tf (Of course I’ll post unused plus many extra images on CVF later on.)

Is it ok if I submit for tf as already quality-optimised resized 758 px wide landscape format jpg’s? I checked that is the size the larger images are appearing on the Foto Video page with your new software. (Ask me for a test-piccy if you're in any doubt.)
