    Re: This is Trondheim

I'm so happy for you, getting hired for photo-shoots!!!!
When you present these images from Rockheim to us, I get really, REALLY curious as to how the ones you can't show us look...
And when hired, and getting payed, for a job..., then I also wonder what you look for as motifs...., or do the people hireing you tell you what to look for and what they want... (of course they do the latter)??? (At least that you can tell us, who want to learn more..., or?? ).

To be totally honest, it wasn't a photo shoot for Rockheim but a photo-shoot where Rockheim and the surrounding area is the "scene".

It was a fashion shoot, with spotlights, flashes, generators (to power lights) and reflector screens. Hi-tech photo shoot, with make up artists, dresses and fashion, and the best of all, with models.

A shoot such as that takes a little time to plan, and there is a time schedule to adhere to as well... based a lot on the light, sunset, weather, and many things.

                Re: This is Trondheim

Back in time, and back to Trondheim again: here are a set of images taken at Kristiansten Fortress while the summer was still here.

Unbeknown to some, the fortress has been through some massive restoration lately. The cafe has reopened, new toilets have been made, the grassy lawns have been worked up, the fortification around the fortress have been strengthened, in addition to many other details all around the site.

This is a well-worth visit for anyone coming to Trondheim: great city view and a lot of history have taken place here.

Here is another thread from Kristiansten Fortress from May this year:

May 8th 2011 at Kristiansten Festning in Trondheim

                Then, to the images:

The newly opened cafe, to be open all year round:

                The brand new restrooms:

                The fortress building:

                - and finally, the new grassy lawns around the fortress, here towards the Tyholt Tower on the back-side:

Some great new views….I do like that park and the image with the red awning especially, and then there’s the new café at Kristiansten fortress, and the new grassy areas there. The more familiar street at Ila is taken in a way I wouldn’t have thought of, standing right in the centre of the road, …and it emphasises the way the paving stones are laid to be higher in the middle..
The light in the last view of the harbour at Skansen is perfect…blue and yellowy gold.

There's a house in the left-middle of the picture with some windows in roof, it almost looks like the word "AnnA" is written in the wall!?

Many weeks ago, I went to Munkholmen to take some photos... I hadn't been out there for many years, an island so close yet so far out in the fjord.

The guided tour out there is HIGHLY recommended, the guide was absolutely phenomenal. It had an additional cost of 30NOK, but was well worth it...!
