One more post from and about Trondheim: next to IKEA there is a very busy round-about, and now, we will get a turbo-round-about there to solve the congestion.

It will be very interesting to see the people from this city negotiate this one: they have no clue how to drive in the current round-about we have today.

The idea comes from the Netherlands and Belgium, so I wonder, what do you janihudi think about it?

Very nice pictures from your hometown, pakarang
I looked at the picture from Brattøra and see that there is a big change from the last time I called at the pier.(Of course thay's many years back in time now) In other words, a major advance in the port area with many new buildings.
                Best wishes from
                Bengt Domben

                  Dear Sir!

Thank you for those most appreciative words! That makes freezing my hands (as in fingers) off, well worth the extra pain!

Yes, the port area, and Ila as well, has changed a lot the past 10-20-30 years! Compared to before, there are hardly any docks available for ships anymore. They are all converted to office blocks, apartments, new developments and breakwaters. Trondheim is doing the same mistakes as Bodø when it comes to placing tall buildings at the water front. A pity actually.

                    surprising they work very well.

i hate round-abouts anyway as a truckdriver,i rather seen bridges and tunnels

but normaly you have 1 lane and everyone had to drive on that lane, now you have 2 lanes, and when you have to go to the right you go drive easier through.
as seen at 57 seconds the marks on the road were to drive, with those extra lanes the round-about can process traffic.

we have several differend round-abouts,2 lanes just round in a cirkle, one were you bent away (when you go to the right) just for the round-about,so you wont come on the round-about.

it's just a manner of get used to.
                    best regards Thijs

                      well,everything for the family.
but they are well appriciated, unfortanially i hardly come in this part (club international) of CV.
only the pilot guides and the road kill thread and even that not everything.

just to much to read and to less time
                      best regards Thijs
