I'm thinking how lovely the first golden photo is as a companion to the deep blue of your favorite! Not only in color contrast, but the roundness of the trees compliments the vertical lines of the blue so beautifully!

Ummm not so sure, a convenience in winter is obvious enough, but perhaps it would make this pleasant street feel more like a shopping mall, like Glasshuset in Bodø.

I do like shopping malls and have nothing against them, but what I do not like about this idea is the very large support beams which is placed in the middle of the street.

A part of Trondheim Torg has something similar, the back of some buildings is now under a roof, and that is not too bad at all. What I try to say is that if a glass roof is to be erected, it should not need to contain a lot of obstructing pillars to hold it up.

What is more important for the downtown area to pull customers is ease of parking and the ability to park free, if you can provide some kind of validation stamp from shops. Let's say, for every 100 kroner you use downtown, you can park free anywhere for 30 or 60 minutes. This was the case in Bangkok on all the malls. First 20 minutes free, thereafter free parking if you had a shop's stamp on your parking ticket.

Why in the world can not Torghatten Nord have their company logo on the wall of their office building at Brattøra? This is bordering to prejudice against Torghatten, and I wonder if someone at the city council is still upset with the fact that Torghatten bought up the remains of the old Fosen Trafikklag?
