Are you planning on kidnapping me or something?

Not sure of the exact schedule out the summer but if I have the chance, and you remind me once again a little closer, I might go there and get some photographs for you.

Trondheim is a very historical city, a great place to visit and for those that enjoys different vistas, this is the place... !

Some more images from around town... Don't think they've been posted before so I hope they are interesting to some.

As always, comments are greatly appreciated.

I start with a walk down by the banks of Nidelven River:

              More images from Nidelven:

Almost at the end of the river, where it runs into the Trondheimsfjord:

This is marking the end of Nidelven:

Then, the water from the river mixes with the fjord:

These are definitely high end properties - price wise.

The red house have probably been rebuilt or made larger over times. I think it may now house several apartments. The door without stairs is probably meant as an access to boat in the river - something from the days before roads were usual.

It is indeed a nice property, right by the side of the river.

Reminds me of what my friend Jane says about living in New York..would you rather have an apartment in Weehawken, New Jersey with a view across the Hudson River to the Manhattan skyline....or an apartment in Manhattan with a view across the Hudson River to the Weehawken skyline.............. High end doesn't always mean best.......

(Oh, I thought everybody knew; he's one of the most renown musicians we have in Norway, and he's working place (the composer-hut) is the cabin on top of the tower).

That is such a great place. As far as I know, the place is still owned by Trondheim Port Authority, but he has some long term lease contract on it. I would so enjoy having an office there, what a view and what a place it must be.

Åge is needless to say, a phenomenal artist: down to earth, great musician and he's Norway's probably most successful rock artist ever.
