If you thought that Sunnmore was only about Marine Industry, Fisheries and Furniture, you have to think again:

Really .... I had no idea, nor have I ever heard of this brand. I learn something new each day!

A little avalanche and a bit of snow in the hair is nothing new for those living along Hjorundfjorden:

Sunnmore is know for it's furniture manufacturing and design, but everybody need to have either apparently.
This arrangement seen in a restaurant in Aalesund is simple and functional, without much manufacturing or design required:

At least as far as the "table" goes.

Have you ever heard of Hessie, the Sea Serpent seen in Hessafjorden in June 1999??
Not me either, but I came across this article by accident:
              https://books.google.no/books?id=z9g...C3%A6r&f=false
Apparently another sighting was made in 2001, this time in Storfjorden, on the opposite side of Sula.

A bit of search only turned up this article:
              http://s8int.com/dino26.html

I could not find anything about the news in NRK.

Easter is when Norwegians who haven't had enough of snow and ice during the winter head for the mountains to look for more. (Those who have head for "Syden")

Here in Sunnmore it has been cold clear weather during Easter so far. Here are some pictures from smp.no to prove it:
                  http://www.smp.no/bildeserier/2018/0...t-16387329.ece

Personally I haven't had skis on my feet for 50 years, so I stay in town.

Don't know if the tweet from the police will translate, but it is in rime.

Hjorundfjorden looks like Greenland after avalanche:
