Tafjord is not among the best known and most visited places in Sunnmore, since it is a "dead end" unless you are on a hike in the mountain.
But it does have the distinction of being one of the warmest places in Norway, especially in the winter when the Fohn wind can get the thermometer up in the high teens quite regularly:

It can also get VERY hot in the summer, when the sun heats up stagnant air in the narrow valley and fjord.

Each one may rent such a camper mobile and most people have no expierence driving such a huge vehicle.
They are so concentrated on the narrow road that they are not able to watch the queue behind.
I have my doubts that you can to anything. Just smile and be patient. They are bringing the money...

I presume it is an improvement from when most were pulling a camper behind their car and was totally incapable of reversing when meeting somebody on a single lane road.

Well you could - but we'd have to pay SMP 49NOK a month to see the video!!

Ooops, forgot that part. Maybe this is better?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIvRN0d2C0c

PS> How come you get away with only NOK 49 being in the UK? I just paid NOK 99 for two moths (8 weeks actually) and I'm much closer??
(Unless you missed Aalesund so much you have sneaked back here without telling me)

Yes, we miss Ålesund, but we're still here, too far from the sea. They want 49NOK for the first month and then 199NOK per month after that. Think I'll give that one a miss.

I don't think Hurtigruten stop long enough for a trip on this trek though.

Trollstigen will open sometime end of this month, depending on when two known avalanches will be releases and the weather.
They are working on clearing the snow from the road now. Here is a video to prove it: http://www.smp.no/nyheter/2017/05/03...ick_articles=1
