Daytrip from Berkåk to Oppdal over Nerskogen

Daytrip from Berkåk to Oppdal over Nerskogen

A pre-summer daytrip to get away from the city. The trip went to Berkåk and then over the mountain Nerskogen to Oppdal. Just a few pictures, nothing really too special.

But the weather was really nice though!

            Nothing too special...., you say.

            I DISAGREE!!

As always you take great pictures, and you're able to pass on ideas and inspiration to the viewers. Well, at least me.

              NOW you’re being modest pakarang… no…make that you’re being RIDICULOUS…

There are some images that make such an impression that sometimes they just flash into my mind for no apparent though no doubt deep reason. I think I shall be finding that I am often sitting there at that wooden table.

I particularly like the framing and lines of this one.... the diagonal movement to the mountain....

Yes, spot on E… it draws one in to looking at the view doesn’t it…and then it’s like walking up to the rail and looking as in #1…so I scroll back to that and start over. Lost count of how many times I’ve done that.
Eventually gone on to reach the last three images! ….and in the last one there’s a diagonal line across the whole image that seems to divide the season’s, in space rather than in the time dimension. So even more than just “good composition”.

Oh, come on you guys and gals... you are all way too kind.

Do you all sense a difference in my photos lately?

I have tried to discontinue my old way of taking picture of EVERYTHING, and instead concentrate on getting a few GOOD ONE'S (that I'm pleased with - which is not happeing to often).

I have made a promise to myself to try learning more, and becoming better at taking pictures, during second half of 2012.

A Vietnamese friend of mine here in Trondheim started taking photos just 3 years ago, and he is WAY better than me that have been trying the same for 22 years now. I look up to him and his skills, and I also learned of another new Thai friend's amazing abilities (he lives in Sweden, you may remember him Lady C).

Very kind of you S to say that I have inspired you: it actually touches me. Thank you so very much!
