    A boat to Grip

Went to the small island of Grip today. A 40 minutes boatride north of Kristiansund.
(Something happen to the pictures when linked from FB. Makes them very grainy around motif edges. They are not like this when viewed directly in FB).

An excellent trip-report from a truly special place.... I would love to spend some days there, not just the 90 minutes.... perhaps during autumn storms?

I bet Grip is some kind of place to be in the storms of fall, yes.

However, you'll need to find a private means of transportation then, since the island is shut down and no public transportation is available. I know the pilot boat use Grip harbour to rest in between ships to operate on during fall and winter..., when the time is too short to go in to Kristiansund. You might ask them to go along. Other than that I know of a man, a fisherman, who har Grip as his equiment main base 24/7/365. He is a bit special though, so I don't know if he fancy a passenger on his boat.

I'm sorry for only posting my FB link. It's not mainly the number of pictures to upload in each post on CVF..., as that has in fact increased, but rather what Photobucket call "bulk upload" which in my case mean 6 and 6 images each time. Just imagine how long it would take to upload to CVF via Photobucket when I have a serious amount of pictures to show you. I thought it was better to give you all a link, since you no longer need a FB membership/account to watch such links

        Fully understandable.

-and yes, time is indeed money. Convenience is the key.
