    Norwegian Food

Norwegian food can appear strange to some. Some is even strange to Norwegians from a different part of the country.

Here is a collection put together by somebody from Oslo: http://www.thelocal.no/20131016/norw...ard-to-stomach

How do I know from Oslo??? From the comments to some of the dishes.

It's not exactly food, but very much eatable, and typical for Norway: the ROMKAKE (rom cake) (Best there is!!!)

And to my friend over there in Edinburgh....; nice decoration, or what? ;-)

It is Cod season, with fishery going on even in the harbour in Aalesund:

Our son were out fishing and caught some nice size cods, so we made a nice meal from the best part of the fish; the heads:

The biggest head cleaved in two, while the smaller heads left whole.
