Delighted to see the panorama type views in your post #181 pakarang!
Were these stitched together from separate shots or just cropped appropriately? (I know you have a wider angle lens than I do.)

Once a "out of towner" asked me about it and I told him; It's and "English speaking only" telephone. He walked on to find the next one that would accept Norwegian.

This conifer is the national tree of Chile, and it is known as the monkey puzzle tree in the UK.
The botanical name is Araucaria araucana, the name deriving from a native Chilean people.

Stitched at first and then cropped to fit!

The moment I saw them I was 99.9 percent sure they were especially for me.

I thought of you looking at that scene, remembering some of my recent panoramas in my Trondheim thread, and thinking that the view before you was suitable for such a panorama – and then you took the photos – the Seagull actually having been an influence on Captain-teacher instead of the other way round.
And the most wonderful thing about it is that your Seagull-influenced panoramas look like J-O photos, just as I should be able to be inspired by your images whilst remaining my Seagullish self.

That makes me feel so good. And photos in the Greenlanders thread pleased you too.
I'd better go do a more creative cloud of the day while I am in such a positive mood!

                                It usually does, every year.
I will be there for this one.
