    Sun Cruise Hotel, South Korea

Have you all read about or seen Sun Cruise Hotel in GANGNEUNG, South Korea?

It's shape is based on a cruise ship, and with some imagination, we can all see that it's built to look like a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

Yep, the Sun Cruise Hotel is one of the host hotels here at the Mount Titlis Women’s World Championship 2009, and apart from some iffy wine choices, the place is utterly spectacular.

True, the concept of designing and building a landlocked cruise liner for a hotel seems a bit odd. But everything from the rooms (with heated floors) to the grounds – full of walking gardens and sculptures etc. – to the breathtaking views of the sea is simply... well, breathtaking.

Currently, the hotel's website does not load: http://esuncruise.com/

        Pacific Palace Hotel - Batam

There is a fairly newly opened hotel in Batam. The main entrance looks like this:

From an angle it looks like this:

And from the opposite side, like this:

An artist impression of Pacific Palace Hotel, with Singapore's skyline in the background:

It was standing half completed for many years. This is what it looked like from the sea side:

It is said that the original Owner was dreaming of owning a Gambling Boat, but settled for this imitation on dry land. (Even with a "Tender" alongside, bringing out the "suckers")

The project was abandoned in 1997, but completed by somebody else last year, minus the Casino

There is also a "ship-hotel-on-land" at Bang Saen beach, Chonburi province, in Thailand.

Yes there is. It is called A-One Hotel:

And it is just next door to this one:

No wonder you knew about that one.
But you could let on that it is actually in Pattaya, or is there another one somewhere else in Chonburi Province??
