Jepp...., that's on the military side of Bodø Airport all right. But you managed to get a great picture after all! I made a "photomontage" of a Boeing E-3A Sentry I took at Ørlandet a while back, with the small pictures showing portions of the interior and where in the plane they are

Big S-- just how many are there of you??? How in the world do you do all that you do, know all that you know, in just one person??????????????

I think that you're really a small company masquerading as one person.............

Hahahahahahahaha...., funniest comment I ever read...

I can assure you, it's only one of me, allthough it might look like I'm two

I belive I "know lots of different stuff" because I'm genuine interested in those things, so I have a tendency to seek info myself. That's essential.

But then again, looking at my photomontage, it shouldn't come as a surprice that the co..pit is up front...

Really difficult to catch an overhead F16 in motion!

Here is probably one of my most successful attempts, one out of I don't know how many.....

                    Sterkoder, F16 right?

I also managed to catch an overhead SAS at Bodø, a little more easy than a fighter plane at full power...

                          Sterkoder, F16 right?
                          Jepp..., that's correct.
General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, would be the full name.
(Can't tell if it belongs to 331 or 332 sqn. at Bodø though...., you got to belive me this time...).

General Dynamics sold their subsidiary of aircraft production to Lockheed in 1993.
In 1999 GD reentered the world of airframe production, as they bought Gulfstream Aerospace.

As for that last picture there, the one from your e-mail, that machine is
a McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet of the US Navy.
The owner of the production line is now actually Boeing, so this is in fact a Boeing F/A-18 Hornet.
From that angle, I can't see if it's an ordinary Hornet, or if it's a Super-Hornet.

That Boeing 737 there from SAS was the second one in the hole fleet to get winglets. (Yes, I know...., why on earth does anyone need to know that...? Don't know).

Great facts! Does the wings on the Hornet fold in?

That's correct, and you can see the folding line about 1/3 in from the wingtip on each side. The outer 3rd part of the wings fold upwards.

Awesome........ ! I guess it's because they've got to fit on an aircraft carrier.
